The agency was founded in 1960 as a sole proprietorship, operating in the field of commercial/financial information and debt collection. Further on, thanks to successful accomplishment of several projects and long-term contracts, debt collection activities increased considerably and became the main sector of the agency.
In 1988 NIVI became NIVI CREDIT Srl, mainly aimed to recover small and medium debts.
In 1992 the DOCUBANK division was founded. The division offers services such as consultation, organization and management of paper and digital archives, conversion of documents in electronic images, their conservation by means of optical support and their transmission or consultation by means of telematic technology.
In the last 20 years Nivi Credit Srl has acted by force of a Power of Attorney for the main Italian Highway Companies concerning management and collection of unpaid tolls.
In 2005 the EMO division, acronym of European Municipality Outsourcing, was created. The division performs an outsourcing service on behalf of Municipalities for the notification of administrative sanctions all over the world. The need to recover unpaid administratice sanctions after their notification led to the increase of business relationships with foreign agencies working in the sector and to the consequent development of a specific department within Nivi Credit, which oversees financial credits that banks, important private companies and car rental companies claim from citizens residing abroad.
Nivi Credit Srl is affiliated with UNIREC (National Union of Debt Collection Companies), FENCA (Federation of European National Collection Associations), Confindustria (Italian Employers' Federation), ACA International (Association of Credit and Collection Professionals) and TCM Group International (Global Debt Collection and Recovery Services) as authorized representative of the Group in Italy.
